iPhone game developer sued for allegedly stealing users’ phone numbers

Electric Pig reports that an iPhone game developer has
been accused of secretly collecting users’ phone numbers. A lawsuit lodged in the US says the firm has been deliberately spying on gamers.”
The complaint filed by an iPhone owner accuses the developer, Storm 8, of making
…use of the ‘backdoor’ method to access, collect, and transmit the wireless phone numbers of iPhones on which its games are installed”
Storm 8 is reported to have said the numbers were collected because of a bug, which has since been fixed.
