Multi-source ads in apps get reprieve, app developers doing nothing as usual

Admob is delaying a plan to to stop providing it’s service that lets apps carry advertising  from several different networks at once.

The company’s Vice President (and we all know what those are like) announced on their blog

“In order to ensure that we are focused on doing what is best for our publishers, we have decided to temporarily delay the discontinuation of support for mediation layers until we can introduce a comprehensive plan that meets our publishers’ needs while also continuing to provide advertisers and end users with the best possible experience on mobile…”

Call me old fashioned, but isn’t this yet another example of iPhone app developers failing to organise and set up their own network, to help themselves? (See App Developers Fight Back by Insulting their Customers)

  1. That quote you quoted like the quoting quoter you are made absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. Pure marketing BS. At least when I type up a stupid comment with a ton of unnecessary language I’m not doing it to defend a product or practise!
